One thing has always struck me: the world around it is just as beautiful as Pilates itself. The calm of a well-kept studio, that morning light, the way everything is thought through down to the last detail. At one point I even wondered whether I should invest in it.
With my background in branding and e-commerce, I noticed something else: the same pattern, everywhere I looked. Beautiful spaces, good classes and then, at reception, a sock that didn't match anything else.
So instead of investing, I took a different route: I set out to solve that one detail for studios that simply don't have the time or the specialist know-how to deal with it themselves. You focus on your community; I make sure what they take home lives up to the studio they've just walked out of.
And yes, the margin you make on those products is nice, but it isn't the point. What really counts is this: every tumbler, tote bag or sock with your brand that your community carries is free advertising for your studio, one more reason to come back, and sometimes the first step towards a new client you would never have reached otherwise.
