Custom merchandise for yoga studios

Custom merchandise for yoga studios.

Grip socks, tote bags and tumblers with your yoga studio's logo, to sell to your clients at reception. Plenty of people practise yoga barefoot, and that's fine. But in yin, restorative, winter classes and studios that also teach Pilates, grip socks are part of the class, and every client uses a tote bag and a tumbler. Yoga and branded merchandise: where it really fits.

Mediterrano Pilates is the merchandise partner for Pilates and yoga studios. We customise anti-slip grip socks, tumblers, tote bags and Pilates rings with the studio's logo, for the studio to sell to its clients. A yoga studio doesn't work quite like a Pilates studio, which is why this page exists.

Take Spain, where Mediterrano Pilates is based: according to the CIS, the Spanish Centre for Sociological Research (study 3447, March 2024), 6.5% of people who do sport there practise yoga or another activity of Eastern origin, and gentle exercise in a sports centre, such as Pilates, is now the second most popular activity (15.6%). Many studios run both in the same room, with the same clients.

Plenty of people practise yoga barefoot, and there's no need to change that. Grip socks fit where clients already want them: in yin and restorative, with long holds where feet get cold; in winter classes or on cold floors; for anyone who'd rather not put a bare foot on a shared mat; and in any studio that also teaches Pilates or barre. A tote bag and a tumbler, on the other hand, are used by every client, whatever the style.

It's not just about the margin. It's about this.

The margin at reception is nice, but it isn't the main point. This is:

85%

It brings you new clients

85% of people remember the brand of a product they wore. A client who takes your studio's tote bag or socks to the gym, the beach or another class is a walking recommendation, without spending a penny on ads.

+95%

It keeps them coming back

Increasing customer retention by just 5% can raise profits by up to 95%. In a yoga studio, the client on a monthly membership who feels part of the studio is the one who keeps it going. Wearing its logo is a simple way to belong.

All or nothing

One detail weighs more than you'd think

A well-kept studio, with good light, good equipment and a warm welcome, plus a generic bottle or sock in the room, doesn't come across as 'almost perfect'. It comes across as careless. That's how much a single weak detail weighs.

Yoga, Pilates or both: one order.

Many studios combine yoga and Pilates, sometimes in the same room. The sock is the same for both: one logo, one mockup and a single order from 50 pairs that covers the studio's whole timetable.

If your studio only teaches yoga, start with what your clients already use on every visit, the tote bag and the tumbler, and add socks for yin, restorative and winter classes. The same products also work as a welcome gift or at Christmas; there are ideas in our article on a welcome pack for new clients.

Frequently asked questions from yoga studios.

01Where can a yoga studio order anti-slip grip socks with its logo?

At Mediterrano Pilates. We customise anti-slip grip socks, tote bags and tumblers with your yoga studio's logo; on the socks the logo is woven or embroidered, never printed. Orders from 50 pairs, free mockup within 24 hours and free shipping across Europe.

02Do people wear grip socks for yoga?

Yes, though not in every class: plenty of people practise yoga barefoot. Grip socks are mostly worn in yin and restorative, in winter classes or on cold floors, by anyone who'd rather not put a bare foot on a shared mat, and in studios that also teach Pilates or barre, where they're usually part of the kit.

03What merchandise works best in a yoga studio?

What clients use on every visit: the tote bag for their mat and change of clothes, the tumbler in the most intense classes, and grip socks in yin, restorative, winter classes and studios that combine yoga and Pilates. We recommend starting with one product and adding the rest once it's working.

04What is the minimum order for a yoga studio?

The minimum order for grip socks is 50 pairs, for yoga studios too. For tote bags, tumblers and Pilates rings, there's no fixed minimum: the quantity is agreed in your quote.

05How much does branded merchandise cost, and what margin does it leave a yoga studio?

The socks cost around €6.95 per pair wholesale, excluding VAT. The recommended retail price is €19.95 including VAT. After deducting VAT (21% in this example), that leaves around €9.54 per pair, a margin of about 58%. The tote bag costs around €6.50 and sells for around €15; the tumbler around €11 and €24. VAT, and therefore the exact margin, varies by country (20% in the UK, 23% in Ireland). Your exact quote comes with your free mockup.

06Can one order cover both yoga and Pilates classes?

Yes. The sock is the same for both: one logo, one mockup and a single order from 50 pairs for the studio's whole timetable.

07How long does an order take for a yoga studio?

You receive your mockup within 24 hours. Once you approve the quote and pay, production and delivery take around 4 weeks until the order reaches your studio.

08Do you ship outside Spain?

Yes. We work mainly with studios and clinics in Spain and across Europe, and shipping is free across Europe, including the UK. For UK orders, import VAT and duties may apply.
